LAUD studio, a landscape architecture studio led by me, Penny Vad Nørmark — a Danish landscape architect living in Goa.

As a landscape architect, I work across Denmark and India, designing climate-adaptable green spaces that feel rooted, resilient, and considered. My focus is on crafting places that work with nature — whether through private spaces, nature-based stormwater solutions, or visual storytelling that helps people see what’s possible.

My approach is shaped by Scandinavian design values — minimal, intentional, and people-centred — but always adapted to the place and people I’m designing with.

With seven years of experience in landscape architecture, I work across scales and geographies — from concept development and visual storytelling for clients in Denmark to hands-on implementation in collaboration with developers, homeowners, and local experts in India. Whether remote or on site, my work combines Scandinavian simplicity with a deep sensitivity to local context and climate.

LAUD studio was born from a desire to work more slowly, more collaboratively, and more in tune with the landscapes we shape. I still believe in that — and if you do too, I’d love to hear from you.
